Weekly Reflection Week 3 Tuesday: Today I learned that 'Cochon' in French means pig. The easiest thing about today was social studies because all we did was watch a video about innovation and then answer a few simple questions. I am still working on getting my speech writing done. Wednesday:  Today I learned that there was a man called Democritus that came up with the idea of the atom when he was cutting up a piece of fruit. The easiest part of the day was library because I picked up a really funny comic book about the history of the world I am working on finishing my science work.  Thursday: Today I learned how to draw thing 1 from the cat in the hat by Dr Suess. The hardest thing today was trying to work out a hard equation in maths. I can make this easier by figuring out some strategies. I am working on finishing my art. Weekly Reflection Last week wasn't to bad as I did forget to bring my sports gear on thursday, but i also didn't realise that I was going home to get changed so that sort of freaked me out a bit.  Science was great as we used the bunsen burner, and learn about all of the ins and outs of the bunsen burner. We use a chunk of wire to see where the hottest part of the flame was. It turned out to be in the very middle. In the middle of the very bottom it was just a cold space of air. We did some pottery and I got the best pottery award. We used the wheel with a bunch of different and weird tools. We were making bowls, and it turned out that it was the best bowl, as some people made some weird looking gravy boat type things. Last week in sport we had our very first touch game of the season.  I believe that if we trained a lot more, then we could really improve on the the teams strategies.
